Challenges

Commken was contracted by Agmond International to build the capacity of Maasai Mara University senior staff with skills in crisis management and build their crisis management process.  There was:

  • Lack of crisis management.
  • Senior staff was not well equipped to anticipate, handle and manage a crisis.

Solution

What did we do:

  • We trained senior staff on how to anticipate, handle and manage a crisis to its logical conclusion.
  • We developed a risk management framework.
  • We developed a comprehensive crisis management policy.

Outcome

  • The university now has a well trained senior staff capable of managing a crisis to its logical conclusion.
  • The university now has a well developed crisis management toolbox.
  • The university now has a well trained crisis communication team.
