Lucie Sewe is a consultant in strategic communications, conflict resolution and peacebuilding, with more than twenty years’ experience in various aspects of communication and public information. Ms Sewe has developed and implemented several communication strategies.
She specializes in writing stories, articles, press releases and reports, developing websites, moderating social media facilities, media relations, designing communication materials as well as organizing campaigns and events.
Ms Sewe’s working experience includes the United Nations, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), governments and the private sector. Among the titles she has held are, knowledge manager, newsletter production manager, and information manager, computer systems consultant and trainer among other titles.
Her technical skills include, MS-Office suite, photography, graphics design, project management, WEB development, content management systems, statistical applications, systems analysis and design, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), database management among others.
Ms Sewe holds a Master of Arts Degree in Peace Studies and International Relations from Catholic University of Eastern Africa; Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management from Kenya Institute of Management; Postgraduate Diploma in Communications and Computer Science from the University of Nairobi; and Bachelor of Education (Communications technology, Mathematics, Business Administration, Computer Science and Administration) from the University of Nairobi.
